Ok i will start this review with - I LOVE LEGO''S WINTER THEMES - all of them are good apart form last years winter toy shop which was pretty much the same as the 2012 toy shop apart from a change in toys and colours - But still it was cool!
These sets look awesome in winter displayed - though a lot of white means a lot of cleaning to keep them dust and mark free -
The winter cottage 10229 is my favorite and stands proud on my shelf getting ready to be displayed this current season . And when i heard this winter holiday train was coming out set number 10254 it was a must ; and as all other winter sets its on an expert level.
I had to get it --- what more do you need now, we almost have a full village with ice rings and bakeries - a winter cottage that looks amazing lit up with a warm led colour ..
I must say this train is too cool i loved it instantly without even purchasing or seeing this set i knew this was what we needed , a winter train -- that take power functions ... it can chug round your town/ winter village on its own - automated -- I love that ...
Ok so on opening the box
we have 2 instruction books one very small
16 train train tracks
bag numbers up to 3 - consisting of 7 bags
I am gunna be honest here - and am wondering why lego have labelled this an expert set
to me this does not fit it the same likes of complicity as the winter cottage - which was a test of perseverance- But non the less this is amazing set
there are three carriages one is full of toys and the other toys and a xmas tress
5 figures and a park bench -
if you are a winter theme fan and are collecting the winter sets - then this is for you - i just cant wait to get the power functions in there --- set up my winter village and get this bad boy clunking round in true xmas fashion
Verdict
8 out of 10
pros : for me and a good purchase for anyone who is into trains or winter village sets - nice build and use of bricks - looks amazing and takes power functions cost in the same price frame as other sets - loads of toys and trees
cons : could have been bigger and more peices - not enough train tracks can get a bit fidgety at times

The Beatles And the yellow Submarine --- 21306
ok i admit i saved the best for last -
Let's get this straight - Lego is the best toy, collectible item in history :) , and so were the Beatles one of if not the best Bands in history - These four Liverpudlian lads took over the work - started pop culture, dominated the world and changed music and a generation forever ...
I have loved the Beatles since i remember, so many classic songs - elenor rigby, hey bulldog , taxman , drive my car , Norwegian wood, all you need is love, love me do. lucy in the sky with diamonds, a day in the life ...
The Beatles were the best and unlike a lot of "musicians" today actually wrote and performed their own material - Paul McCartney and John Lennon were the best song writers in 100 years ---
The Beatles starred in many films and documentaries during their reign -
The yellow submarine animated film wasn't actually voiced by the Beatles --- but it was awesome and had all the classic tracks - one after another after another -----
And now i Most certainly know on the 1st of nov ill be getting one of these --- this is definitely a must and a befitting tribute to one of the best band in history ----
