Another awesome week here at BrickGeekz, and i was incredibly honoured to receive a full box of The LEGO movie 2 minifigures from
huge thank you for providing us with these awesome figures ! really happy - and 2 weeks before release.. 2 whole weeks i was ecstatic, and immediately opened the box 👊
I was greeted buy the usual three rows with 20 figures per row and 60 figures in the box , this is not unusual for LEGO their box layout has pretty much always been the same - What is very different is the fact that on each row there is one full set of minifigures, they were placed in no order but very strange and something i haven't seen before.
I really like these figures they are extremely colourful, compared to series 1 of the LEGO movie minifigures which instantly attracted me to them, there is also the white baseplates - which though not new as we have seen them before in team GB and the German football team, unlike the mentioned 2 series these are unprinted and look so so cool.
There were a few things i noticed on removing my first bag from the box - the bags are a lot larger in height than any of the previous other series of minifigures , and on opening the bag which i noticed in the unikitty series - there is bags in side bags - so you have your main bag then a bag inside that bag - but oddly not all the bags had internal bags ???? i was baffled by this
And secondly after removing the internal leaflet, they are of lesser quality, not as thick or glossy as previous internal leaflets
some might think i am being picky but i can assure you this is a mere observation, and did not affect the build of the figures. I was very impressed with the amount of extra accessories you get within the bags, and also the amazing quality of the prints - some super intricate and so so small, for example the watermelon guy, he has a watermelon slice as his accessory it has minute seeds , just visible to the eye ... even tough i have seen this food piece before only a couple of times - this is what makes these minifigures - the quality, and this is what LEGO is all about quality. And as LEGO fans, well what can i say LEGO is defiantly no lacking in quality....
I have to mention this is the first series, where there is no small legs present or the block used as skirts and robs, something esle that makes this set awesome too.
An amazing series full of colour and interesting characters
Pros = awesome series, lots of colour , and fun characters , and wizard of oz = sweet
cons = another unikitty ???
