New stop motion video here !! on set 75828 Ghostbusters 2016 ecto1

Yessssss Finally got my hands on the new ecto 1 and 2 ghostbusters car from the new 2016 movie - i had to get it i love all ecto vehicles and i wasn't discriminating even though the new film was very debatable and not in a good way .
Ok i have to be honest here I wasn't entirely impressed with the movie (no spoilers) it was a remake of the original and didn't have half of the magic the original did - it had the modern wise crack humour that seems to plague blockbuster films - and this was on an unprecedented level -- every second line there was a crack or a joke that occasionally raised a smile - Kevin (Chris Hemsworth) being the funniest of the characters in the film... the special effects were great and to find that slimer was now married left me wondering what is the world coming to (lol)It did not put me off buying the set i wanted to see what it was like - i needed to compare - i was convinced the smoother edges of the older ecto was better ---
well dudes and dudettes i have to be honest this is a pretty neat set , much better than expected - u get
556 pieces fall out of the 4 bags which for £50 is pretty good it takes about 2 hours to put together if your going slowly and hour if your fast either way its a great build and i really like the mayhem figure you get with it- have to mention like the previous model which was a Lego Idea the new ecto one comes with the same high gloss instruction book with an awesome inlay that provides information on the characters and figures in the set - Always a great thing to see
2 and half hours stop motion time with well over 1500 photos -
Ok so the edges aren't as smooth as the original ecto 1 - but its a damn cool build loads of minifigs and turned out a lot better than i expected - a few stickers and a few printed tiles -- To my disappointment there was no stand to place the figures on like the older model which makes it look a little less organized when put on a shelf

The new ecto 1 and 2 is very slightly longer and wider than the previous model - and it almost looks as good -- i stress the word almost - but not as good and as stated before it does have the stand to places the figure on
but really liked the mayhem figure the build and the way it all went together - check stop motion vid

Verdict -
7 out of 10
Pros - Printed tiles and loads of cool accessorizes - and also the mayhem figure is sweeeet
Cons - No stand, rough edges , not as good as original (bit like the film)
